This beautiful, stone cottage, in a typical French style, sits amongst charming landscape of gently rolling hills, vines, woodland and pasture, just outside the old English Bastide town of Villefranche de Lonchat. An hour from the vibrant city of Bordeaux (with its airport), 45 minutes from the old town of Bergerac (with its airport), and 30 minutes from the world-renowned centre of wine, St Emilion, this gite is the perfect location for a relaxing break. Within a short drive there are also excellent shopping and leisure facilities, restaurants and a whole host of places to explore.

The cottage can accommodate six to eight people and also provides a cot, high chair and baby bath on request. The master bedroom is en-suite and there is a fully modernised kitchen and additional bathroom. With 2 other double bedrooms of good size and 2 living areas, the cottage is spacious and ideal for family holidays.

The cottage sits in 4 acres of land and the grounds offer peace and tranquillity. There is a 10x5 metre outdoor heated pool which has a secluded position close to the cottage, and it is a gentle 20 minute walk up to the village of Villefranche de Lonchat where there is a boulangerie, hotel and restaurant, local shop, café, pharmacy, doctor’s surgery, post office and cash machine.
